Agricultural Projects

Agriculture has always occupied a special place at West Rock. Tim grew up on a dairy, raised beef cattle for many years, and currently operates a 2400 head hog facility. Because of this background, he can help customers create a project that is cost effective and functional for all types of farming.

West Rock understands the cautiousness of the farmer. Most ag projects don’t get started until there is a reassuring crop in the field. Tim realizes this and works with the customer to make sure the project is completed in time for harvesting the crop.

West Rock stays informed about innovative trends in farm building design, and strives to build the most functional building for each farmer.  For example, a commodity shed is much stronger with 8-9’ walls than with 5’ walls. Tim will discuss the different options and prices to deliver value and quality.

West Rock has completed all types of agricultural projects including hog confinements, total cattle confinement barns with 12’ pits, monoslope cattle barns, cattle yard run-off protection, fertilizer storage, commodity sheds from 4’ to 17’ tall, 9’ and 13’ bunkers and even a 17’ free standing bunker divide wall.
